Seven Summits Trail

Bike Magazine's 2007 "Trail of the Year" and a designated IMBA "Epic" the Seven Summits trail delivers on the promise of endless challenging single-track in a spectacular setting The trail traverses the Rossland Range from North to South, climbing and descending through open forest and alpine meadows, with panoramic views in all directions. Linking directly into the historic Dewdney trail for a single-track descent to the finish, the complete race course length is 35km, with approximately 1100m of ascending and 2000m of descending. The trail, completed in 2004, is a creation of the Kootenay Columbia Trails Society, with broad support from the local community.
